Read Write Inc. Phonics                                 

For Phonics, we follow Ruth Miskin's Phonics Scheme, Read Write Inc. (RWI). 

Read Write Inc. Phonics teaches children to read accurately and fluently with good comprehension. They learn to form each letter, spell correctly, and compose their ideas step-by-step.

Our mission is to teach every child to read and write, and to keep them reading.

Order of Story books: Children will follow the order listed below. The expectation is that all children will leave Year One as confident speedy readers, ready to take on the challenges of Year Two. However, some children may need extra support and your teacher will talk to you about this.
